The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is available for use by students admitted to the Boise State University Department of Nursing. The LRC provides a convenient and accessible location for nursing students to access course specific equipment, computerized learning modules, audio/visuals and computers.

  • The LRC has 10 computers and a printer for nursing student use.
  • Videos are checked out at 4 P.M. and must be returned by 8:30 A.M. the next workday (there are no exceptions to this rule).
  • Most health assessment equipment (blood pressure cuff, otoscope, stethoscope, HA kit) is loaned for a period of 3 days.
  • Glogerm and blacklights are available for check out with advanced notice.
  • Audiovisual equipment is available for check out. Please try to reserve equipment at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • If your instructor has class notes in the LRC, plan to arrive at the LRC by 4:30pm for copying at the Copy Center. The LRC doors close at 5 P.M.
